LightXtreme VPN Terms and Usage Rules

Everything that matters about a LightXtreme VPN account is written down here: how you register, how a subscription is bought and counted, how the client is used day to day, and what happens if something needs fixing. We avoid legal fog on purpose, because clarity protects both sides. A refund is available on one clear condition, and the actions that are not permitted are listed rather than buried. Downloading, installing or using LightXtreme VPN means you agree to these terms.

1. About this service

What you get is faster, cross-region networking together with protection for your privacy, delivered through clients for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux and through extensions for everyday browsers, and the whole thing rides on more than 2,000 servers in 70+ countries and regions, with the client telling you which nodes you may connect to.

Trying the service first

Start with a 30-minute free trial included in the first download, and treat everything after it as a subscription in which a single account is entitled to 3 devices connected at one time.

Ways to pay

Paying can be done through Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, and the subscription becomes usable as soon as the payment is taken, with the settlement delay belonging to the provider you used.

2. Cancellation and refunds

Our 30-day money-back guarantee is meant to be simple: inside 30 days of activation you may ask for a refund from inside the client or by email, describe how the service behaved for you, and we will process it, at which point the plan ends, whereas anything older than 30 days or partly consumed is not refundable unless the law insists on it.

Making good for lost service

Should a long outage be traced to our own servers and reported to us promptly, we may add time to your subscription in recognition of the trouble.

3. Acceptable use

It is your responsibility to respect the laws and the network usage norms of your country or region, and the service may not be used for anything illegal, including but not limited to:

  • attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
  • bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
  • transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
  • using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.

Where an account ignores the above we are entitled to suspend it, withdraw functions from it or close it, and the most serious cases are handled through legal channels.

4. Rights to the software

The LightXtreme VPN client, the website copy, the interface design, the icons and the word marks remain the intellectual property of LightXtreme VPN and its rights holders, and reproducing, editing, reverse engineering, redistributing or selling them requires written approval, while the personal data you create during legitimate use belongs to you alone.

Updates and adjustments

Functionality, node layout, plan prices and offers may be revised occasionally and the live version is always on this website, and where a revision touches the rights in a plan you hear about it in advance while customers who already paid keep what they bought until their current period runs out.

What we are not liable for

As far as the law permits, LightXtreme VPN is not accountable for connections that drop or speeds that fluctuate because of force majeure, a carrier fault or a policy change at your end, and since a VPN reroutes what you send, a few sites will still refuse traffic that arrives through a VPN.
